The Story so far
Natural Improvement Service was founded with a goal of providing sustainable solutions for landowners, businesses, and communities. The larger goal is to remediate and manage wild areas to serve as living examples of beneficial human intervention and foresight.
Founded in 2021
My name is Justin Macaw. I founded Natural Improvement Service in 2021 as a personal vehicle for positive change in the world. I earned a degree in Agricultural Systems Management from the University of Idaho and held several positions in different agricultural sectors from factory potato processing to feedlot meat production. After a while I developed a very heavy conscience about the toll we take on the natural world. I also grew up exploring on our 500 acre property and I worry about the availability of vast, unbroken wild places for future generations. I aim to protect and create wild lands for the rest of my life.

I offer a range of environmental and ecological services, including site assessments, remediation, and management. I work closely with clients to develop customized solutions that meet their unique needs and goals.
